What is Home Staging?

 

Home Staging is not redecorating or interior design.  Essentially, it is showing off your home by making a great first impression and appealing to as many potential buyers as possible.  Once your home is on the market, it no longer is your home, it is a product you are selling.  Get rid of the collections and clutter that distract buyers from seeing the hidden value in your home.  The focus needs to be on the house rather than what is in it. 

 

Home Staging is not an expensive undertaking requiring new furniture or trendy accessories.  It’s creating a warm, inviting environment that shows your house in its best light in the 10 to 15 minutes a potential buyer will spend there.

Home Staging includes:

      n       Clearing out the clutter & Eliminating distractions such as collections or artwork displays

n       Depersonalizing the decorating style of the owner &    Lots of cleaning

n       Accentuating the positive features of the home &   Rearranging furniture to promote the home’s features and to create good traffic flow
